A. GENERAL ENGLISH: 100 MARKS

     i) Comphrehensive of given passage (Descriptive) - 20 marks
     ii) Precis Writing (Descriptive) - 20 marks
    iii) Usage and Vocabulary (Descriptive or MCQ) - 40 marks
    iv) Short essay (Descriptive) - 20 marks
                         
                           TOTAL - 100 MARKS


B. GENERAL STUDIES:  100 MARKS
    
   - All questions should be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
   - Each question will carry 1 mark each i.e. 1 x 100 = 100 marks (100 questions)
C. CIVIL ENGINEERING (Technical paper)
    
     a) Technical Paper I - 200 Marks
       
           i) Part A: Objective type - 100 Marks
           
              * Each questions 2 marks each i.e. 2 x 50 = 100 marks (50 Questions)

          ii) Part B : SAQ Descriptive type - 100 Marks

              * Each questions 5 marks each i.e. 5 x 20 = 100 marks (20 questions)

      b) Technical Paper II - 200 Marks

           i) Part A: Objective type - 100 Marks
           
              * Each questions 2 marks each i.e. 2 x 50 = 100 marks (50 Questions)

          ii) Part B : SAQ Descriptive type - 100 Marks

              * Each questions 5 marks each i.e. 5 x 20 = 100 marks (20 questions)

      c) Technical Paper III - 200 Marks
