A. GENERAL ENGLISH: 100 MARKS
i) SECTION A (Descriptive/Essay) - 20 marks

ii) SECTION B (Objective or MCQ) - 80 marks
- OMR Response Sheet hmanga chhan tur a ni ang. Grammar problems, passage, vocabulary leh Idioms & Phrases etc hmang tein question a lo kal ang. OMR Sheet-ah hian option 4 a awm ang a; a dik ber zawnah thai bial (encircled) tur a ni.
- Exam duration: 2 Hours

B. CIVIL ENGINEERING : Technical Paper I - 150 Marks
- All questions will carry 2 marks each.
- 75 nos. of questions i.e. 2 x 75 = 150 marks
- MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) Type only.
- Exam duration: 3 Hours.
- OMR Response Sheet will be provided.
C. CIVIL ENGINEERING : Technical Paper II - 150 Marks
- All questions will carry 2 marks each.
- 75 nos. of questions i.e. 2 x 75 = 150 marks
- MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) Type only.
- Exam duration: 3 Hours.
- OMR Response Sheet will be provided.
Total Mark or Full Mark = A+B+C = 100+150+150 = 400 marks
Note : This syllabus is common to all PHE/PWD/P&E/IRRIGATION, etc.
